Management Team

Bernard Haffey joined NDO in April 2007 as President and CEO. Mr. Haffey was previously EVP and Chief Commercial Officer at IntraLase Corp, an ophthalmic device company that recently sold to AMO, Inc. for $808M. Mr. Haffey held a similar position at Summit Technology, Inc., which sold to Alcon Laboratories for $972M in 2000. Mr. Haffey previously also held various executive management positions at Mentor Corp and Hewlett Packard Co. Mr. Haffey earned his BA from Colgate University and his MBA from Cornell University.

Amos Cruz heads RD&E at NDO. Mr. Cruz is an accomplished innovator with 17 years experience in medical device product development. He has been with NDO since its inception and is listed as a contributor to a majority of our IP. Mr. Cruz previously managed R&D projects for GE Medical Systems and UroMed Corporation before joining NDO.

Rhonda Bracey, CPA, Vice President, Finance & Administration, joined NDO in 2003 with 17 years of finance experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining NDO, Ms. Bracey held several positions of increasing responsibility at C.R. Bard, Inc and was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

John Vozella, Vice President, RA/CA/QA, comes to NDO with 29 years in the health technology industry, including senior management positions at SomaLogic, Cadent Medical, MediSense / Abbott Laboratories and Kendall Healthcare. Mr. Vozella has also served as a field investigator with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from the New England School of Law.

John Frantzis heads Global Sales and Business Development. John comes to NDO with extensive management experience in emerging high technology and medical device companies, with previous positions at Retica, Inc, Summit Technology, Inc. and ADC Communications.

Jayne Little, Director of Reimbursement, joined NDO in June 2007. She leads the Company’s efforts to expand private insurance and Medicare coverage for the Plicator® procedure. Ms. Little is a proven performer, having achieved national coverage for prior endolumenal GERD procedures. Prior to joining NDO she held similar roles at Curon Medical, Inc., Cryogen, Inc. and Argomed, Inc.
